Irena Peer is an award winning designer, specializing in interior textile finishes and fashion. Her New York based practice offers design, product development and licensing services.

Born and raised in Siberia, Russia, Irena has trained in textile design in Russia, Israel and Japan.

Working alongside craftsmen in Japan influenced her approach to design, blurring the lines between artistic and commercial. In addition to commercial work, designing rugs, textiles and ceramics, Irena exhibited her textile art internationally and served as a curator of two consecutive textile exhibitions for Design Living Center in Tokyo.

She strives to create work that stands the test of time, yet feels completely contemporary.
